RAKSHA BANDHAN IMPORTANCE IN INDIA 

रक्षा बंधन -भारत में रक्षा बंधन को राखी का त्योहार कहा जाता है,यह  सावन पूर्णिमा के दिन  हर साल  अगस्त माह में मनाया जाता है ,यह भाई -बहन का त्यौहार  है ,जो  पुरे भारत में मनाया जाता है ,इस त्योहार को सभी धर्मो के लोग मानते है। यह सनातन धर्म का बहुत ही पावन पर्व है ,जो एक भाई – बहन के प्रति प्रेम और स्नेह को दर्शाता है ,इस दिन बहन अपने भाई के कलाई में रक्षा धागा बांधती है जिसे राखी कहते है ,और भगवन से अपने भाई की सभी बाधाओं से रक्षा करने की विनती करती है ,और भाई भी बहन को आर्शीवाद और वचन देता है कि बहन की हर परस्थिति में मदद करने का वचन  देता है।

(Raksha Bandhan — In India, Raksha Bandhan is known as the festival of Rakhi. It is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Shravan, usually in August. It is a festival of brothers and sisters and is celebrated throughout India. People of all religions celebrate this festival. It is a very sacred festival of Sanatan Dharma that represents the love and affection between a brother and sister. On this day, a sister ties a protective thread, known as a Rakhi, around her brother’s wrist and prays to God for his protection from all difficulties and obstacles. The brother, in turn, gives his sister blessings and promises to help and support her in every situation.)

रक्षा बंधन का त्यौहार सभी धर्मो  के लोग मानते है। रक्षा बंधन का त्यौहार भारत  के अलावे भारत के पड़ोसी देश में भी बड़े धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है ,जैसे बांग्लादेश , पाकिस्तान ,श्री लंका ,नेपाल , भूटान आदि देशों  में मनाया जाता हैं।(The festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated by people of all religions. Apart from India, the festival of Raksha Bandhan is also celebrated with great enthusiasm in India’s neighboring countries, such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and other countries.)

यहाँ  तक की जहाँ -जहाँ  भारत के निवासी वास  करते है वहाँ भी बड़े  ही धूम  धाम से भाई – बहन का  ये त्योहार रक्षा बंधन के रूप में मनाया जाता है ,जैसे -अमेरिका ,जापान ,रूस  ,ऑस्ट्रेलिया , फ्रांस ,ब्रिटेन आदि।  इस त्योहार को मनाने का कोई देश रोक नहीं लगता ,जिसके कारण किसी भी धर्म के लोग इस भाई बहन के त्यौहार को बड़े ही धूम धाम से मानते हैं।

इस त्योहार को भारत तथा अन्य देशों के सनातन धर्म ,मुस्लिम धर्म ,ईसाई धर्म ,बौद्ध धर्म ,जैन धर्म आदि के भाई -बहन  बड़े ही धूम  धाम से मानते है, ये त्यौहार अनौखा है,जो भाई -बहन के बीच स्नेह – प्रेम का रिस्ता उजागर करता है ,भाई का बहन के प्रति स्नेह और सम्मान का भाव पर आधारित है।

रक्षा बंधन का महत्व और उत्साह-

इस दिन हमारे बहनें बॉर्डर में रक्षा कर रहे जवानो को राखी ( रक्षा धागा )बांधती है और जवानों की दीर्घआयु की कामना करती है , जवान भी वचन देते है ,बहन और देशवाशियों को रक्षा करने का वचन देते है। भाई -बहन का  ये रिस्ता भारत को अन्य देशो से अलग और मजबूत बनता है।

The Significance and Spirit of Raksha Bandhan—

(On this day, sisters tie *rakhis* (protective threads) around the wrists of soldiers guarding the borders and pray for their longevity; in return, the soldiers pledge to protect their sisters and their fellow countrymen. This bond between brother and sister makes India unique and strengthens the nation.)
