TOKYO OLYMPIC 2020 WINNERS IN INDIA /SUMMER OLYMPIC 2020
32nd Summer Olympic 2020 at Tokyo in Japan, One year delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic, started 23 July 2021 and ended 8 august 2021, performance of Indian players, India got one gold medal, two silver medal, and four bronze medals.
1.Neeraj Chopra – Born 24 December 1997, from Panipat (Haryana), an Indian male javelin thrower, junior JCO in the Indian army, he is the first javelin thrower athlete to win a Gold medal for India at the Olympic 2020 in Tokyo(Japan )
2.Ravi Kr Dahiya –Born 12 December1997, from Nehari Haryana, an Indian male freestyle wrestler, he won a Silver medal at Tokyo Olympic 2020 (Japan )in the 75 kg category
3.Saikhom Mirabai Chanu –Born 8 august 1994, Nongpok Kakching( Manipur), an Indian female weightlifter, won a Silver medal at Tokyo Olympic 2020 ( Japan )in the 49 kg category.
4.P.V. Sindhu-born 5 July 1995, from Telangana, an Indian female badminton player, she won a Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympic 2020, the first Indian woman ever to win two Olympic medals, first win 2016 on Rio super in china Olympic silver medal and second Tokyo 2020 in japan.
5.Lovlina Brogohain –Born 20 October 1997, from Assam, an Indian female boxer, she won a Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympic 2020 in Japan
6.Bajrang Punia –born 26february 1992, from Haryana, he won a Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympic 2020 in japan (65 kg weight category )
7.Indian men’s national hockey team – won a Bronze medal in men’s hockey at Tokyo Olympic 2020 in japan , defeats Germany 5-4, won a medal in hockey after 41 years, last won a medal in hockey in 1980. At present Indian men’s hockey team captain- Manpreet Singh
